ABOUT

ABOUT

Integrated Family Therapy incorporates the philosophy that human beings have many parts that work together for completeness and wholehearted living. The same is true in our families. All the individual parts of our family make up a complete system that functions as a whole unit.

LMFT

Carly believes healing is relational and that it is a privilege helping individuals, couples, and families create interactions and relationships that are healing. It is not easy work, but the work that happens in therapy can be life changing.

Carly helps clients deepen and transform the way they think, feel about, and experience themselves and their relationships. Her own life experiences have shaped her therapeutic view

to be empathetic and understanding to to the tragedies and heartaches of life while empowering

clients in using their own strengths and resources on the path of healing.

Carly uses empirically based attachment-focused treatment including Emotionally Focused

Therapy. She also utilizes other interventions and treatment from John Gottman, CBT therapy, DBT therapy, and Lifespan Integration.

MFT-I

Therapy can be an enlightening yet challenging process, I will work alongside you and your significant other throughout the process to help you find hope, clarity and peace. I have experience working with people from a variety of backgrounds including relationship conflict, betrayal trauma, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD and multi-cultural backgrounds. I love working with couples, teens, young adults and adults.

The theories that I study and focus on are Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solutions Focused Brief Therapy and Narrative Therapy. I enjoy in person and online therapy and have found both options to be great mediums to aid in the healing process.

Real life (the kind not on social media) can be challenging and even more complicated as you add more people into the mix. My goal is to help you with your individual and relationship challenges. As we develop our client and therapist relationship, I will learn about your unique experiences and will work to understand you.
